As a remote-first organization, we believe fair pay means your salary reflects the value of your work, and that it genuinely supports the life you're building, wherever you are.
Every vacancy we publish is mapped against our growth stack and job architecture. We use a tool called ravio.com to define our compensation levels, use the 75th percentile as our mid-point, and stretch our ranges by 10% above or below this mid-point.
This way, we can define locally-anchored compensation levels, and to provide purchasing power parity for our international team.
The criteria we use to set pay are:
Role level and scope of responsibility
Skills and experience required for the role
Market benchmarks from recognized industry compensation data sources
These criteria apply consistently regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Salary ranges in job postings
As a remote-first company, we provide a reference location and compensation benchmark.
When we post a vacancy, we reference the 75th percentile market benchmark for that role and level, in a specific location. The actual compensation for your location may differ, and will be discussed in your first interview.
Your rights as a candidate
In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (2023/970/EU), you have the right to:
Know what the role pays. Every job posting includes a reference salary benchmark. The specific details for your location will be shared at the start of your first conversation with us.
Understand how pay is set. The criteria above are the basis for all compensation decisions. You can request more detail at any stage of the hiring process.
Not be asked about your salary history. We do not ask what you currently earn or have earned in the past, and we do not use that information in our decisions.
