DNA.inc is looking for an experienced Senior React Native Developer to join a small, collaborative team focused on high-performance applications, including TV platforms. You'll bring your expertise to solve complex technical problems, define architectural foundations, and ensure the overall quality of applications used by audiences worldwide.

About the job

In this role, you'll work closely with team members experienced in native and web platforms, applying your deep React Native knowledge to tackle mission-critical technical challenges. As a Senior Developer, you will be a technical anchor for the team, providing high-level architectural guidance and ensuring performance remains a priority across various projects.

Among other things, we will look to you to:

• Define and drive architectural decisions, ensuring codebases are scalable and maintainable across different environments, including TV and mobile.

• Act as a technical advisor, providing direction on performance-related decisions, especially for hardware-constrained platforms.

• Guide the team in best practices, code quality, and advanced performance optimization.

• Coordinate with client stakeholders to align technical solutions with broader business goals.

• Be hands-on in the codebase, leading by example through high-quality implementation and thorough code reviews.

• Identify and resolve complex bottlenecks in large-scale, modularized applications.

About you

To be considered a candidate for this role, we will look to you to have:

• Proven seniority in React Native, with a track record of defining architecture for complex client projects.

• Expert-level proficiency in React, React Native, TypeScript, Redux, and RxJS.

• Strong experience interfacing with native code and building robust cross-platform UI components.

• A deep understanding of performance and scalability, with the ability to optimize applications for constrained environments (such as TV).

• The ability to write reusable, framework-agnostic code and establish standards for code quality across a project.

• A pragmatic, hands-on approach: you enjoy contributing directly to the code while maintaining a high-level view of the project's technical health.

• Strong communication skills, capable of discussing technical architecture and business objectives with stakeholders.

Bonus points for experience with:

• Streaming (audio and/or video) and Media Players

• Large, modularized codebases

• Developing React Native apps for TV platforms

• Native development experience (iOS, Android, or Web)

• Automated Testing, Payments, and Localization
