In this position, we'll expect you to operate as a high-leverage individual contributor, an expert who shines in contexts where seniority, speed, and sound engineering judgment are critical. You’ll quickly build context, identify the highest-impact opportunities, and drive pragmatic solutions that balance quality, scalability, and delivery timelines. You’re comfortable switching gears between greenfield development and complex legacy environments, and you bring structure where it’s missing; shaping architecture, improving engineering practices, or aligning stakeholders.

About you

To be considered a candidate for this position, we expect you to have:

• 6–7+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, with a strong senior-level track record

• 5+ Strong experience with Python and Django in production environments

• Deep understanding of system design and backend architecture

• In-depth knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis

• Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs

• Solid experience working with cloud and DevOps practices, including tools like Docker and Kubernetes

• Ability to move between projects quickly, providing clarity, structure, and technical leadership

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders

It would also be amazing if you have:

• Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks

• Experience with Flutter

• Exposure to or interest in AI-driven products or features

• A genuine curiosity for building products across domains

• Passion for gaming or sports
