We’re looking for a Lead Solutions Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience in the media/streaming/OTT sector to join our Commercial team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Commercial team to understand client needs, define technical scopes, and shape strong, actionable proposals that align with our delivery capabilities. We’re remote-first (Europe), with hybrid options in Amsterdam, Madrid and Valencia.

About the job

As a Lead Solutions Engineer at DNA.inc, you will:

• Collaborate with the Commercial team to qualify opportunities and define technical approaches

• Analyse client requirements and translate them into clear proposals, estimates, and documentation

• Connect with the experts in our engineering teams for in depth knowledge

• Create and review technical documentation, diagrams, and architecture overviews

• Join client meetings to represent technical perspectives and capabilities

• Contribute to RFQ/RFP/RFI responses and pre-sales technical design

• The position will likely include travel with some frequency to clients and events

This is a remote or hybrid position, which could be anywhere in Europe. We have locations in Amsterdam (HQ), Madrid and Valencia, with more hubs to come in the future. Even if you’re fully remote, you are encouraged to come hang out in our clubhouse in central Amsterdam from time to time, or meet up with the team at a conference, meetup, or other event.

Our ideal candidate has knowledge of / experience with:

• Background in application development, with familiarity across mobile ecosystems, Smart TVs, web, and other consumer electronics

• Solid understanding of APIs, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP)

• Knowledge of OTT platforms, streaming media, and related technologies

• Strong communication skills across non-technical and technical audiences

• Team player

• Can work independently on complex tasks

• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal

• We are only considering candidates already living in Europe

Bonus points for experience with:

• Experience in the Automotive sector

• Familiarity with DRM, video technology, and related media technologies

• Previous consulting or pre-sales engineering experience
